We will always ask first whether a rebottled or reconditioned tote will work for you, because it usually will and it's usually cheaper. When new is the right call (regulated pharma, cosmetics validation, a customer-mandate spec), we stock it.

When does new make sense?
- Regulatory spec. Some pharma, infant nutrition and cosmetics audits require virgin packaging and won't accept rebottled.
- Anti-static (SX-EX). If you're storing flammables and need a static-dissipative IBC, only the new EX-rated build qualifies.
- Multi-trip UN re-certification. If you're filling and re-shipping under your own UN cert, starting with a new tote simplifies the audit trail.
- Color & branding. OEM custom colors or printed cages aren't always available reconditioned.

Mauser MX series
Industry workhorse. UN31HA1/Y rated, oven-dry option (FoodSafe), available in food-grade and standard. Full-warranty 12 months. Stack rating 2-high filled. Most common configuration: 275-gal HDPE, EPDM gasket, 2" S60×6 outlet, 6" top fill cap.
Schütz Ecobulk
Ecobulk MX is the standard line. SX-EX is the anti-static variant for flammable liquids — required by code in some installations. Foodcert is the FDA-rated food-contact line, oven-dry processed at the factory.
Greif GCUBE
GCUBE Plus is the standard composite IBC. GCUBE FoodSafe adds the food-grade rinse and oven-dry. Both stack-2-high rated. Also offer a poly-pallet option that's lighter than wood and CIP-friendly.
When you genuinely need new
Most of the time, reconditioned or rebottled covers it. The cases where new is the right answer:
- Audited pharma or infant nutrition. Some downstream audits explicitly require virgin packaging without exception.
- Anti-static (Ex) for flammables. Schütz SX-EX or equivalent is only manufactured new; it's not in the reconditioned supply chain.
- OEM-specific custom color or branding. Powder-coat to a non-standard color from new is sometimes cheaper than after-market.
- Multi-trip UN re-cert simplification. If you're filling and shipping under your own UN cert, a new tote simplifies the audit trail at the start.
- Customer-mandate spec. Some customers require new packaging from suppliers regardless of technical fit.

FAQ — new totes specifically
Why are your new prices similar to other distributors?
OEM pricing is fairly uniform across distributors. The savings of ordering new through us vs. other dealers is mostly in the freight and the support relationship — we coordinate the order, handle the receiving, and provide a single point of contact for the warranty.
Can I mix new and reconditioned in one order?
Yes, frequently. A common pattern: new totes for one critical line, reconditioned for the rest of the operation.
What's the warranty?
OEM warranty (12 months for most) plus our 30-day fulfillment satisfaction guarantee. We swap any tote that arrives misrepresented.
